Skyfall cars

Range Rover

It was reported prior to the start of filming that a Range Rover Evoque had been delivered to Pinewood Studios, the rumour being that it would appear in Skyfall. However, the  first scenes shot in London’s Whitehall included a slightly bearded Daniel Craig being driven in a Range Rover Vogue SE.

However, co-producer Andrew Noakes said in February 2012 that Jaguar-Land Rover were providing 70 cars to the production, both on-screen and for the production, including the Range Rover Evoque as well as a Land Rover Defender.

Jaguar

A report in The Sun in October stated that initial shooting would include a stunt at Smithfield Market in which James Bond gets on board a Jaguar from a Range Rover while both are moving. The Jaguar seen on location during those first days of filming was a black XJL.

Aston Martin

Daniel Craig was spotted behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DB5 during a night shoot in Lewisham in London in the first half of December. Reports suggested that the scenes feature a high speed chase along narrow streets similar to scenes in Goldfinger. Two DB5s were also see in February 2012, when they were involved in scenes whot in the Highlands of Scotland.

This classic requires no introduction and has sometimes been called The Most Famous Car In The World. Indeed, despite the literary 007 driving an Aston Martin on just one occasion, the DB5’s appearance in Goldfinger has linked this marque forever with James Bond.
