It had been strongly rumoured for several months that Daniel Craig would appear in a short film alongside the Queen that would be screened at the opening of the London Olympics. While many of the rumours turned out to be spot on, the film turned out to be rather surreal in many respects.

While there was much discussion about Daniel Craig’s rumoured involvement in the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, much of which turned out to be correct, there was the added bonus for US viewers who were treated to a 30 second TV spot on Friday.
