EON Productions has granted publisher Taschen access to their archives to produce a book to celebrate 50 years of cinematic James Bond. Editor Paul Duncan spent two years sifting theough EON’s immense archive, which amounts to more than a million images and 100 filing cabinets worth of documents. EON descibes the 600 page book, which collects previously unpublished photos and artwork, as “a definitive and comprehensive pictorial tribute to 007″starting with Dr No (1062) and running all the way through to Skyfall.

As one authors who worked on this book. I researched and wrote chapters on The Living Daylights, Licence to Kill and Quantum of Solace. I can tell you that it is awesome. Each of my chapters had over 40 spectacular photographs – and we had incredible access to the people who actually made the movies.
