Finally it’s been confirmed that Adele will be performing the Skyfall theme song after months of speculation. The confirmation came via Adele’s official twitter channel by simply posting a photo of the cover of what is presumably the lyrics, shown above. From that we can gather that the song was composed by Adele and Paul Epworth, which had also been rumoured. Thomas Newman, who is composing the soundtrack, therefore appears not to be involved, which is a pity as the elements from “You Know My Name” worked well in the Casino Royale soundtrack.
