Thomas Newman’s music for SPECTRE is being released as a remastered 2-CD limited edition.

La-La Land Records has announced a 10th anniversary expanded and remastered edition of Thomas Newman’s score for SPECTRE, limited to 5,000 copies.
The new 2-CD set runs to a two-hour score presentation, with the music arranged in the order it appears in the film. It also adds previously unreleased material, original soundtrack album edits, an alternate cue and a source cue.
Newman’s return to Bond followed his work on Skyfall, with Sam Mendes also back as director for Daniel Craig’s fourth 007 film. While SPECTRE divided opinion on release in 2015, Newman’s score continued the more atmospheric approach he had brought to Skyfall, while still nodding to the established Bond sound.
Sam Smith’s Oscar-winning title song Writing’s On The Wall is also included. The set was produced by Neil S Bulk and mastered by Doug Schwartz from Simon Rhodes’s original 24-bit digital stereo mixes.
The release features art direction by Dan Goldwasser and liner notes by Bond music writer Jon Burlingame. Priced at $32.98, it starts shipping in late June and will be sold exclusively through 007Store.com and La-La Land Records for the first 90 days.
