The eagerly anticipated trailer for Casino Royale was last night released by Sony. Available in several different quality streams, to cater for Bond fans using dialup to the fastest broadband speeds, the trailer shows a number of scenes from the film which is to be released in November. It seemed to good be be true – two James Bond films released within 18 months. However, the film business being what it is, Bond 22 has been delayed – we now have to wait until November 7, 2008.

YoungBondDossier.com reports that Casino Royale has now finished principle photography and is now in the post-production stage. And ending speculation regarding the theme song, it has been confirmed that Chris Cornell and David Arnold have collaborated on the theme called “You Know My Name”.

MI6 has reported that the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund today announced that Casino Royale would be shown at this year’s Royal Film Performance. The 60th anniversary of The Royal Film Performance will take place on Tuesday 14th November 2006 at London’s Odeon Leicester Square.
