James Bond 22 release date announced

Columbia Pictures and MGM issued a press release on July 20th 2006 to announce the release of the 22nd James Bond film. The press release gives May 2nd 2008 as the release date, scotching the rumour that they would go for a 2007 release, although it leaves the year clear for promoting Casino Royale’s DVD release.

Craig Daniel will again star as 007, probably causing the heads of the people behind craignotbond.com to explode.

The film is so far untitled, although a variety of rumours have already started. We’ll not mention any until they look like they may have some meat behind them.

“As we wrap production on CASINO ROYALE we couldn’t be more excited
