Bond 24 pre-production to start next year. Does that mean a 2015 release?

Daniel Craig is planning a return to the stage in Broadway alongside his wife Rachel Weisz, according to an article in the Daily Mail.

The article states that if the negotiations are finalised it will be for a limited run though, as Craig will have to start pre-production on Bond 24 “next year”. While no source has been cited, that may mean 007 will not return to the big screen until 2015.

Can we draw any conclusions?

I think it is too early to say, but the producers know they have a monumental task to top Skyfall after taking well over $1 billion at the box office… and counting.

My take on this is, since the EON producers have not said themselves Bond 24 will be released in 2014 yet, but Sony/MGM have said directly they want to release Bond 24 in 2014, I would like to believe they meant “production” would begin in 2014.
It is possible for them to get it all together later this year, location scouting and casting. It would be wonderful if they kept the same schedule as “Skyfall”.
I think they should strike while the iron is hot and begin filming in early 2014 or sooner for release November 2014.
2015 is going to be the year for Star Wars: Episode 7. No movie wants to be released near Star Wars.
