Forget rankings and top ten lists. The completely unofficial James Bond World Cup gives every film the chance to fight its way to the title.
A little while ago I started thinking about running a poll to discover Bond fans’ favourite film. The problem was working out the best way to do it.
A simple vote between all 25 official films would probably leave some titles with no votes at all, while more complicated systems quickly become confusing.
Then I looked at the FIFA World Cup for inspiration.
The tournament gets underway today across the USA, Canada and Mexico, and its format seemed like a fun way to settle the question. So I decided to borrow the basic idea and adapt it for James Bond.
The completely unofficial James Bond World Cup kicks off today and runs broadly in parallel with the FIFA tournament, with the final scheduled for 19th July.
