This week saw Twitter light up after the first hint of real news about Bond 25 surfaced on Deadline Hollywood.
Asked about whether Daniel Craig’s involvement in TV series Purity would exclude him from filming another entry in the Bond franchise, Showtime CEO David Nevins said:
“It depends when they do the next James Bond movie, but I don’t think it precludes him is the answer. This will largely be completed during the course of 2017, depending how long they’re willing to wait and shoot the next Bond. There might be some breaks somewhere, but [production] will be fairly continuous.”
Back at the beginning of June I looked at what Craig’s rather full schedule might mean for Bond 25. More and more it looks like 2018 at the earliest, whether Daniel Craig returns as Bond or not.
