Bond 26 writer’s cautious optimism points towards imminent news.

Bond 26 screenwriter Steven Knight has suggested that an announcement on the next James Bond film may not be far away, adding momentum to expectations ahead of Amazon MGM’s CinemaCon presentation on 15th April.
The comments came during an interview with Variety primarily focused on the forthcoming Peaky Blinders film, where Knight was discussing the conclusion of Tommy Shelby’s story before briefly being asked about Bond:
I mean, I can’t give any details, obviously, but I’m loving it. It’s so much fun.
Pressed on whether audiences might hear something soon, he added:
Yeeesss… depends on what you mean by ‘soon,’ but yeah. I mean, things are moving along quite nicely.
With Amazon MGM already expected to address the film at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on 15th April, Knight’s comments now give added weight to the idea that something concrete may finally be revealed.
