Adele won the award for Best British Single at the Brit Awards last night, although the singer was unable to attend in person due to being in Los Angeles to rehearse for the forthcoming Oscars and instead a video message was played.
In the message she thanked her fans and, and jokingly referred to her award for Best British Album last year when her speech was cut short.
Seperately, Jany Temime won the contemporary film category for her work on Skyfall at the Costume Designers Guild Awards in Los Angeles.
