Skyfall suit to be auctioned this week

Auction house Christie’s is to offer a suit worn by Daniel Craig in Skyfall as part of an online only auction of items from film and music.

The auction, titled Pop Culture, will feature 100 lots that include costumes and props, as well as photos, original artwork and other items and expected to range in price up to £30,000. The two-piece suit from Skyfall suit was designed by Tom Ford in a Prince of Wales check as estimated to sell for between £8,000 and £12,000.

There also a pair of cufflinks for sale with Bond’s coat of arms, also designed by Ford. In black enamel, the cuff links are expected to go for £3,000 to £5,000.

The auction runs online until 5th December, while visitors to Christie’s in South Kensington can view an exhibition of the lots until that date.
