Skyfall beats Avatar’s UK box office record

Skyfall has finally overtaken Avatar’s box office take in the UK to become the highest grossing film of all time, according to Flickering Myth. Avatar took  £94 million when released in 2009, which was overtaken this last weekend when Skyfall regained its number 1 spot in the box office chart from the latest Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn Part 2. Wordwide Skyfall is due to break through the $900 million barrier shortly.
