The cover of the forthcoming Young Bond novel, Shoot To Kill, which was unveiled at the end of May has been amended after it was pointed out that the Walther P38 gun used on the cover was not in production when the story is set.

The cover of the forthcoming Young Bond novel, Shoot To Kill, which was unveiled at the end of May has been amended after it was pointed out that the Walther P38 gun used on the cover was not in production when the story is set.

While Shoot To Kill, written by new Young Bond author Steve Cole continuing where Charlie Higson left off, is set in 1934, while the P38 went into production in 1938.

Anyone recognise the gun on the updated cover?
