A Range Rover Evoque has been delivered to Pinewood for Bond 23 according to an article published by MSN Cars. According to the article MSN was tipped off by an unnamed “insider source”, saying:
MSN Cars’ insider sources tell us that an Evoque was delivered to Pinewood Studios this very morning. And given Pinewood is home to the Albert R. Broccoli 007 Stage it doesn’t take much to put two and two together and get ‘kerching!’
While Land Rover is unwilling to confirm or deny at this moment, not only is the high-tech sleek and muscular look of the Evoque perfect for the world’s most famous super spy, the slinky SUV’s British brand credentials also fit very sweetly.
It’s not the first time that one of Land Rover’s cars has featured in a James Bond film, most memorably in the pre-titles sequence of The Living Daylights. Land Rovers appeared most recently in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace thanks to a sponsorship deal from Ford, which owned both Land Rover and Aston Martin, although both marques have since been sold.
