Pinewood Shepperton accepts improved takeover bid [BBC]

Pinewood studios, where most of the James Bond films have been shot and where production for Bond 23 is likely to be based has reached an agreement with Peel Holdings to be acquired for £96.1m. Peel already owns nearly thirty percent of Pinewood and was unanimously accepted by the board of directors.

John Whittaker, the billionaire property tycoon who chairs Peel said “Peel represents a long-term strategic partner for Pinewood in continuing to grow and develop the business”.
