An original British quad poster for the first James Bond film, Dr No, is expected to fetch between £5,000 and £7,000 in an online auction run by Christie’s.
The poster, designed by Mitchell Hooks and in excellent condition and backed on linen, measures by 76 by 102 cm and has a starting bid of £4,800 and is part of a sale of vintage posters. Other 007 posters include Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever.
Other movie posters range from Casablanca to Jaws and North By Northwest to Star Wars.
The auction runs until Tuesday 24th June.
