After last week missing the premiere of Diary of a Chambermaid, in which she plays the starring role, reportedly because “some mishaps” with SPECTRE, Léa Seydoux did managed to attend the BAFTAs last night with Monica Bellucci.
Seydoux and Bellucci were on hand at the BAFTAs to hand out the award for Make up and hair, which went to Frances Hannon for The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Prior to the award ceremony the actresses were tight lipped in interviews and, as expected, revealed nothing. When asked whether she had filmed scenes with Ralph Fiennes, Bellucci declined to answer.
After Seydoux missed the premiere of her latest film at the Berlin Film Festival, director Benoit Jacquot was quoted as saying:
“There have been some mishaps on the shoot over the last week, some accidents with the partner of the director and so the shooting schedule has been disrupted”.
On Friday it was reported that filming had been suspended for the day after Daniel Craig sprained his knee while shooting a fight scene, but later reported to be fit for work on Saturday.
