High cinema attendances in the United States over the Thanksgiving weekend has boosted the take for Skyfall, which currently lies in second place at the US, between the latest instalment in the Twilight saga and Spielberg’s Lincoln.
According to Deadline, the 5 day weekend will put Skyfall on $223 million in the US. The estimated US box office takings to yesterday (via Box Office Mojo) were $186 million, which added to the $508 million so far in other territories adds up to $694 million and should easily beat $725 million by the end of the weekend.
