Daniel Craig in Spain to shoot Heineken ad

Daniel Craig has been shooting a television commercial in the Catalan town of Cardona, north-east Spain, according to a local news report.

However, his appearance in evening wear prompted at least one US website to speculate that he was shooting Bond 25 already.

Residents of the historic centre of Cardona were informed last week of access and parking restrictions for “an advertising spot for a major commercial brand”. These restrictions were planned for Tuesday and Wednesday between 9am and 5pm in a number of streets.

Although the local council would not confirm or deny it, it is strongly believed that the brand in question is Heineken.

Craig was filmed a number of times in a chase scene a number of times involving a 1970s taxi and a tractor. Shooting is expected to last for a few days, with part of the ad planned for inside Cardona castle.
