Ben Whishaw has been confirmed as playing the gadgetmeister Q in Skyfall according to the BBC, which states:
British actor Ben Whishaw has been cast as Q in the new Bond film Skyfall, his agent has confirmed.
Whishaw had been confirmed in an unnamed role by Eon Productions and Sony but recently has been widely tipped to play Q.
