Barbican announces corporate packages for Designing 007 – Fifty Years of Bond Style during Summer 2012

The Barbican has announced details of the first corporate packages for Designing 007 – a celebration of 50 years of Bond style.

With unprecedented access to EON’s archive, Designing 007 is a multi-sensory experience which will transform the Barbican spaces and take the audience on a journey through 50 years of Bond style – from 1962’S Dr No to this year’s Skyfall – to celebrate the work of 007 in design, music, graphics, cars, fashion, production, gadgets and cinematography.

In association with the Barbican, Mark Butler Associates is providing exclusive corporate hospitality packages for the Charity Gala Preview and private viewing dates.

Private hire for corporate hospitality is available throughout the exhibition’s run. The package includes exclusive hire of Designing 007 and of the Conservatory and Garden Room prior to the exhibition, canapés and bowl food reception, alcoholic and soft drinks served throughout the evening and event management and hosts in attendance.

The exclusive Charity Gala Preview will be hosted on July 4 2012. The package includes a champagne and martini reception in the Garden Room and Conservatory, canapés and bowl food reception prior to the exhibition, alcoholic, soft drinks and dessert canapés within the exhibition, event management and hosts in attendance on the night and invitations and itineraries sent to guests.

Anthony Hyde, General Manager of Barbican Business Events, says: “Bond is a British icon so it is appropriate that an event celebrating 50 years of the film’s style is being held at one of London’s most iconic venues – The Barbican. There are many exciting events happening in the run up to the Olympics and Bond is quintessentially British so makes an ideal backdrop for corporate events.

“The announcement of these exciting corporate hospitality packages for Designing 007 are just the tip of the iceberg as there will be plenty of opportunities for corporate visitors to enjoy the exhibition whilst using the Barbican for their business events. The exhibition provides event organisers with a unique setting in which to hold their event and will bring creativity into the business environment leading to more engaging, exciting and ultimately successful events.”

Designing 007, 50 years of Bond style is being held in association with EON Productions, designed by Ab Rogers and curated by the Barbican and guest-curated by fashion historian Bronwyn Cosgrave and Oscar winning costume designer Lindy Hemming.
