A brief remark in London points to Britain as the likely production base for the next Bond film.

Amy Pascal has suggested that Bond 26 will film in the United Kingdom after praising the country’s film crews at a London premiere.
The producer was speaking on 10th March at the world premiere of Project Hail Mary, the science fiction film she produced alongside star Ryan Gosling and Aditya Sood. The production shot in Britain during 2025, using Shepperton Studios as well as locations including Portsmouth and Cambridge.
Pascal told Screen that the decision to film in the UK was driven by the quality of the crews:
You guys have all the greatest craftspeople[…] It was the perfect place to shoot it. Our whole crew was British.
For Bond fans, however, it was her answer to another question that stood out. Asked whether she would return to the UK to film Bond 26, Pascal replied simply:
I shall be here.
Although brief, the comment indicates that Britain is likely to remain the production base for the series as it enters a new phase under Amazon MGM Studios, which secured full creative control of the franchise in March 2025 following an agreement with Eon Productions.
For decades the Bond films have been closely associated with Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Many entries in the series — including Goldfinger, The Spy Who Loved Me and Skyfall — constructed their largest sets there on the famous 007 Stage. However it may not be available for Bond 26. In 2019 Disney signed a long-term agreement securing most of the studio’s stage space for its productions, which could complicate any lengthy Bond shoot.
Amazon nevertheless has other options in Britain. In July 2023 the company acquired Bray Film Studios in Berkshire, a historic site once associated with Hammer Films that has recently undergone major redevelopment as a modern production facility. Bond productions have also frequently relied on studios overseas when required. Casino Royale, for example, filmed extensively at Barrandov Studios in Prague.
Bond 26 is being produced by Pascal and David Heyman, with Denis Villeneuve set to direct from a screenplay by Steven Knight. Few details about the story have been revealed and the actor who will succeed Daniel Craig, last seen in No Time To Die in 2021, has yet to be announced.
