Barcelona is one of the most popular destinations in Europe largely due to the number of flights there from low-budget operators such as EasyJet, and helped by a warmer climate and low cost of living.
The city is famous for its architecture and is home to one of the most famous football teams in the world.
Many people visit the Nou Camp to see the football, although for most matches it’s better to buy your FC Barcelona tickets online before you leave home.
It’s also the place that some of us call home and every two years plays host to Spain’s national car show, alternating with Madrid.
Although Bond has no direct links with Barcelona, the 2003 car show did have an extra attraction for Bond fans – a display of cars and other vehicles from all the James Bond films. The car show was held at the Fira de Barcelona Barcelona’s exhibition and conference halls (above).
Naturally we were there to snap the cars and below we present photos of every exhibit there. It should be noted that the cars on display are not necessarily the actual cars used in the films, but an example of the model, to the extent that at least one car is completely the wrong colour.
