A new 30 second ad for Skyfall appeared on US television on Sunday night during the Emmys. The video shows a few brief flashes of previously unseen footage and, with the James Bond Theme playing throughout, is heavy on action.

Earlier in the year there was some controversy when it was announced that for the first time ever, James Bond would drink Heineken on screen. The huge debate was wildly overdone as 007 drinks beer on several occasions in the books and memories are short, as he was seen drinking a bottle of beer in Quantum of Solace. And anyway, rather than ditching his vodka martinis, rest assured that he’ll be drinking both in Skyfall when released next month.

Last week Coke Zero launched their 007 tie-in promotional video. While the product is a bit of a stretch as far has benefiting from the 007 halo effect, the ad is at least mildly amusing.
