Unproduced Thunderball script auctioned for £16K at Bonhams

A first draft shooting script for an unproduced version of Thunderball sold for £10,000, while a leather bound copy of the final version went under the hammer for £16,250 at an auction of entertainment memorabilia run by Bonhams this week.

Lots 95 to 117 were all Bond related and other rare items included a Dr No poster that went for £5,250 and a Goldfinger script that sold for £3,750, the same price paid for a copy memo from Ian Fleming to Jack Whittingham with first draft screen treatment of what was at that time called James Bond of the Secret Service.
