A newly restored ultra-high definition (4K) version of Goldfinger (1964) will premiere at the 65th Berlin Film Festival in February. Worldwide repertory film distributor Park Circus, in association with EON Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, will be presenting this new restoration in the Berlinale Classics strand.
The film will be introduced by legendary production designer Sir Ken Adam, who was responsible for designing the film’s sets including the Fort Knox interior. A special exhibition, “Bigger Than Life”, dedicated to Adam is currently at the Deutsche Kinemathek.
