Title of second Double O novel revealed

Sequel to Double or Nothing to be published in April next year.

Kim Sherwood announced the title of the second book in her Bond-less James Bond series on Twitter X yesterday, writing on the social media platform:

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY 👀 I’m thrilled to lift the curtain on the next Double O novel…

A SPY LIKE ME

An elite team of MI6 agents go undercover to unravel a smuggling network funding violent terror.

Six days. Three agents. One chance to find James Bond.

The tweet was accompanied by a photo of an interim cover announcing “FINAL COVER TO BE REVEALED”.

In the book an elite team of MI6 agents is on a mission to unravel a smuggling network that funds violent terrorism. When a bomb is detonated in London, agents 004 and 000 are assigned to track down the terrorists and stop their next attack.

Meanwhile, 003, driven by her personal agenda, sets out to find the missing agent James Bond, who left a clue at the site of his captivity. The investigation leads the Double O agents from Sotheby’s auction house to Crete and Venice, uncovering a web of money laundering, black market antiquities, and human trafficking.

With a six-day countdown to the next terror strike, the stakes couldn’t be higher as they inch closer to Bond and the dangerous truth.

A Spy Like Me will be published by HarperCollins on 25th April 2024 and is available to pre-order from right now.
