The Folio Society releases 70th Anniversary Limited Edition of Casino Royale

The luxury book publisher has printed just 750 copies of the special collector’s edition.

Independent publisher The Folio Society have released a Limited Edition of Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale to celebrate the book’s 70th anniversary.

Produced in close collaboration with the Ian Fleming estate, only 750 copies will be printed. Each edition features new artwork by illustrator Fay Dalton and is bound in leather with a cover design inspired by Casino Royale’s memorable baccarat scene between James Bond and adversary Le Chiffre.

The book also includes an exclusive new introduction by award-winning author Kim Sherwood, who discusses how Ian Fleming changed spy fiction forever. The edition will come in an artwork-lined clamshell box that includes an exclusive limitation label signed by the artist.

The Folio Society first published Casino Royale in 2015; its edition and has since published 11 other James Bond novels from the author, as well as the short story collection For Your Eyes Only, all illustrated by Fay Dalton.

The Limited Edition, which celebrates the explosive style and elegance of Fleming’s genre-reinventing novel, will be exclusively available for £500/US $725 from foliosociety.com.
