I was emboldened to write after reading ‘The James Bond Dossier’s’ response to this teaser. I, too, am utterly underwhelmed by this trailer and again I ask: have the producers of the Bond series lost the plot? Time and time again polling of Bond aficionados consistently reveals the favourite films to be those which blend action and humour: the Craig Bonds positively burst with the former, but lack humour to compensate for the increased level of violence. Trailers are usually designed to whet the appetite by showing the best parts of the film. If that’s the case with ‘Skyfall, maybe Bond 23 should be renamed ‘Nosedive’ …

After four years of waiting, I know that we won’t be disapointed.I can’t wait to see the result. Daniel Craig seems to be TOP SHAPE. Just wait.
The appear to have gone for ‘moody’, & that with the music they have used doesn’t have the atmosphere of Bond at all.
I think that’s part of the problem I have with it Tim.
I agree with those who say that it’s not James Bond at all: it’s not a James Bond story; the giant-garden-gnome-cum-Popeye is still playing the ‘hero’ and suddenly James Bond is a pc smokeless zone! What bollocks! It’s just chasing money through a vague association of name and diverting attention from the banalityu of it all with high speed stunts.

Like others, I’m looking forward to “Skyfall” but at first glance just let me offer this – James Bond would NEVER wear a tab collar shirt.
