Skyfall has been nominated Film of the Year in the Evening Standard British Film Awards. The lack of nominations in any major category at the Oscars and other awards has disappointed many commentators, so this may make up for some of that.
The latest Bond film is up against independent films Sightseers and Berberian Sound Studio. The ceremony will take place at the London Film Museum on February 4th.
