Roger Deakins, who won so much praise for his cinematography work on Skyfall, will not be returning for Bond 24 according to one industry commentator on Twitter last night. Kristopher Tapley of HitFix.com tweeted:
At dinner with Deakins last night I learned some news that makes me sad: He won’t be shooting the next Bond.

Deakins shot Skyfall digitally and produced some stunning shots with the setup he picked. So we now don’t know who will be cinematographer or whether Bond 24 will be shot on film or digitally.
After that bombshell ‘Tweetleak’, I guess Kristopher Tapley may find his friends and contacts aren’t quite so ready to confide in him in future …
