A few days there was widely reported that Spanish acress Penelope Cruz had been signed for Bond 24, of which we were extremely sceptical, and would thus become the oldest Bond girl to date.
Of course, Cruz in the wife of Javier Bardem, so the story was a bit too neat, and anyway it is way too early to sign an actress when, officially at least, no director has been signed.
Now Cruz has deflated the tabloid reports, denying being involved in the next Bond film. We wait for the next “story” from the red tops.
