No Time to Die to debut on streaming platforms this week

Disappointing box office takings in North America likely to be driver behind decision to hit streaming platforms early.

While No Time to Die has performed well in the UK and Europe, the same can’t be said for the North American Market.

After this weekend global box office takings amount to $667,456,307, of which $143,152,307 of that was from the US and Canada.

Not terrible, but disappointing for all parties involved. At the same point after its release SPECTRE (2015) had taken around $180 million domestically and ended up just above $200 million.

So it’s little surprise that No Time to Die will be available to stream on in the United States a on Amazon and other platforms early. The new Bond film will debut on 9th November with the rental set at $19.99.
