No Time to Die takes at least £4.5M on first day in UK

All eyes on new Bond’s box office after 18 months of misery for cinema.

No Time to Die has earned £4.5 to £5 million at the UK box office on its first day of release, according a statement issued by Eon Productions, MGM, Universal Pictures International and United Artists Releasing.

The opening figure beats SPECTRE by 13% but is 26% is below Skyfalls opening day. It is showing in a record 772 cinemas

Current projections for its opening weekend put the film on around $90 million as it opens across a large part of the world. It opens in the USA next week.
