Dame Judy Dench, currently shooting Casino Royale with Daniel Craig has lashed out at critics of the new James Bond actor.
“I hate how people have been attacking Daniel Craig. It’s despicable and it disgusts me. have filmed with him in Prague and the Bahamas and he is a fine actor. He brings something new and edgy to the role,” she said in Hollywood last night before the Oscar ceremony, adding that the attacks had left Craig devastated.
Of course they hurt him, so just let him get on with the job and we’ll judge him in November when the film is released.
