Listen to ‘Thrilling Cities’ on BBC radio

Back in 1959 Ian Fleming was commissioned by the Sunday Times, where he was foreign manager, to write a a series of articles for the newspaper about the worlds most exotic cities and bringing a touch of James Bond to the newspaper.

He toured the world in order to do this, visiting the Far East, Europe and America along the way.

The articles were later published in book form as Thrilling Cities, and on Friday the BBC broadcast a program featuring one of those cities, Hong Kong.

There will be another two cities featured in future episodes, but you can listen to Friday’s broadcast below:
