James Bond Theme guitar & OHMSS Rolex coming under the hammer this month

Musical Bond fans have the chance to own a piece of ciematic history when the guitar played by Vic Flick when recording the James Bond Theme comes up for auction on December 15th, according to an article on MI6. The guitar, which dates from 1939, is an electric/acoustic instrument manufactured by London baswed Clifford Essex Paragon. The original company went out of business in the 1970s but was reformed in 2007 in Norfolk.

The auction, titled Hollywood Auction 53, is being held by Profiles in History on Saturday 15th December at 11:00 PST and also includes the Rolex Chronograph worn by George Lazenby in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and a selection of 007 posters.
