MI6 has today reported that Goldfinger is to make a welcome return to the big screen in the UK. Most of us have seen the early Bond films on television or VHS/DVD, but to appreciate these classics in their full glory requires a return to where they were designed to be seen. The 40th anniversary screening of Thunderball in November 2005 clearly demonstrated that demand for the Connery Bond films on the big screen does exist, with 100 people paying £100 per ticket to attend a screening with cast and crew members present.
