Trumpeter Derek Watkins, who played on every single James Bond soundtrack, died yesterday according to David Arnold on twitter.
Arnold went on to pay tribute to him both as a musician and a person, saying he “could hit notes others couldn’t get near” and calling him “a lovely man”.
