Bond 24: John Logan says first draft almost complete

Empire Online caught up with Skyfall and Bond 24 screenwriter John Logan this morning, when they quizzed him about progress on the Bond 24 screenplay.

Logan told Empire that the first draft is almost complete and that he had been working closely with Sam Mendes on the storyline, which will continue the themes of Skyfall.  He also says that he goes back to Ian Fleming’s books in search of little bits and pieces to use, and how audiences had responded favourably to past references such as the Aston Martin DB5.

According to Logan, Daniel Craig is also involved in the writing process, as well as Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli and when asked outright whether Bond 24 and 25 would form a two story arc he replied with a firm no comment.

Questioned about the return of Quantum, Blofeld and other double-O agents all yielded the same response; as you would expect he is saying nothing, although when asked about filming Logan confirmed what Ralph Fiennes recently said, that filming would start in October.

I would like to ask if there is a novel to the screenplay of Skyfall? So that I can add it to my Bond Book archive.

I also like to ask if Audio Books will do anymore James Bond’s ? Because I would like to see if they would do the film tie-ins like Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough. It seems they don’t want to do the ones Peirce Brosnan ones
