Bad weather plays havoc with first day of SPECTRE shoot in Austria

SPECTRE News

The first day of the location shoot in Austria on SPECTRE saw little filming after most of the day was a write-off due to poor weather.

After morning rehearsals, Daniel Craig was due to film on Lake Altaussee but the high winds made filming impossible except for a narrow window in the afternoon prior to sundown.

As well as wind causing difficulty for the boats used for filming, it is reported that thunder was heard in the distance and heavy snowfall had required controlled avalanches to be triggered in the area, well later on it is said that fog enveloped the lake.
