CEO reveals Aston Martin lined up for next James Bond film.

In the week that Aston Martin began trading on the London Stock Exchange, the CEO confirmed the marque would appear in Bond 25. In a television interview with CNN Andy Palmer said:
I can confirm that Aston Martin will be collaborating in the next chapter of Bond.
The IPO on Wednesday saw the price of Aston Martin’s shares fell nearly 5 percent, valuing the company at £4.1 billion.
The revelation by Palmer is hardly a surprise though. Although the boss of Lotus said last month that he’d like to have his cars appear in the Bond films, Aston Martin seems happy to deepen the relationship.
They produced the DB10 specially for SPECTRE and recently announced a limited edition DB5 complete with gadgets. And seven Bond Aston Martins are driving around London today to celebrate Global James Bond Day, so Bond and Aston Martin seem inextricably linked at the moment.
And that’s after Palmer said, several years ago, that the company was too reliant on 007 to sell cars and needed to widen its appeal.
Whether the Bond 25 car will be the DB11, Vanquish or Vantage is anyone’s guess. It could be a new car entirely or, as in SPECTRE, a custom made car. Watch this space.
