Archivo 007 is celebrating its 2nd Annual Meeting on the 16th and 17th of August, a national event which gathers together James Bond fans from across Spain. This second event is taking place again at the Hotel NH Alonso Martínez in Madrid.
Joan Casanovas, Archivo 007 founder, explains “After the success of last year’s event, we are now delighted to organize the second one. Despite not yet having the official support of producers nor distributors, we are in conversations with them”.
The Convention is an event with activities that include talks by Archivo 007 staff. The first one, directed by Alberto López, will focus on the legal litigation around the James Bond rights between the producers and Kevin McClory, while the second, directed by Eduardo Giménez, will focus on the unknown franchise posters.
There will also be debate around Goldfinger, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
