Royals Attend The Quantum of Solace World Premiere

The Quantum of Solace world premiere in Leicester Square

Last night saw stars and royalty tread the red carpet laid in Leicester Square to celebrate the world premier of Quantum of Solace.

Prince William and his brother Harry attended the screening, spending some thirty minutes mingling with the cast and crew.

They naturally spent some time with Daniel Craig, still wearing his arm in a sling after an operation to repair a damaged shoulder.

Hundreds of eager fans packed into the square to catch a glimpse of the stars, many of them eager for autographs, and in the centre Leicester Square Park stood an Aston Martin, one of the stars of the show.

Quantum of Solace was also shown at special London Film Festival screening after the premiere, which gave those who were unlucky enough not to be invited to the premiere their first opportunity to view the new film. It goes on general release on Friday in the UK – most other territories a week later – and the USA November 14th.
