Cashmere specialist N Peal has once again been chosen to dress 007 in SPECTRE after the brand appeared in the action scenes at the end of Skyfall.
Two N Peal sweaters are expected to be worn by Daniel Craig, the first of which appears on the teaser poster shown above, while the other can be seen in the teaser trailer.

The Dark Charcoal mock turtle neck seen in the poster is made from a lightweight cashmere and silk blend yarn, while the Fumo Grey cable roll neck is 100% Mongolian cashmere designed specially for 007 and the publicity generated by James Bond has seen stocks of both sweaters sell out. Check the company’s website for current availability.
In Skyfall Daniel Craig wore a Blue Wave Oxford round neck (left), while he wore the same model in Imperial Blue to the SPECTRE press event in December.
The company was founded in the 1930s by Nat Peal, who set up shop in London’s famous Burlington Arcade. Following the outbreak of war Peal was posted to the Shetland Isles, and despite rationing he was able to stock his shop with sweaters woven from the wool of Scotland’s famous sheep; his product was soon in demand.
During the 1950s Peal targeted America and his clothing was worn by stars like Ava Gardner, Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, and Jackie Kennedy and later icons such as Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Grace of Monaco.
In 2007 the company was bought by two businessmen with long experience of working with cashmere, Adam Holdsworth and Nick Falkingham, and set about giving N Peal a new direction. Today the company’s clothing is worn not only by 007, but also by Kate Moss and the Duchess of Cambridge.
