Rome says no to SPECTRE stunt at historic fountains

spectre-news-7

Authorities in Rome have reportedly denied film makers permission to perform a stunt at the Quattro Fontane (Four Fountains) crossroads.

Instead cultural and heritage officials in Rome have requested the scene be created in post-production  in order to protect the fountains from being damaged during filming. The baroque fountains, each of which depicts a figure believed to be a god, date from 1593 and are currently undergoing restoration due to finish next month.
