Goldfinger score goes for gold on vinyl John Barry’s iconic soundtrack finally gets a full restoration for collectors and Bond fans alike.

Even as fans wait for Bond 26, there’s gold to be mined from the past. On 1st June, La-La Land Records will release the most complete version ever of John Barry’s Goldfinger soundtrack on vinyl. It marks the first time all the original music cues—including several that were once region-exclusive—have been collected together on one definitive vinyl edition.
The label is issuing two collector variants: a “Fort Knox Bullion” gold edition limited to 700 copies, and a “Body Paint Gold” edition capped at just 300. Liner notes by Bond music authority Jon Burlingame and artwork by Jim Titus accompany the record, with Neil S Bulk producing and Chris Malone restoring the audio.
This isn’t La-La Land’s first foray into Bond. Over the past year, the label has reissued deluxe CD editions of Goldfinger, Moonraker, and The Man with the Golden Gun. Each includes remastered audio and, in some cases, previously unreleased tracks.
Bond fans will note the attention to detail. For decades, soundtrack releases varied depending on geography, frustrating completists. This edition corrects that historical inconsistency, delivering the most authentic experience of Barry’s music since the film’s 1964 debut.
The announcement is part of a broader initiative. La-La Land plans to release a new Bond soundtrack on vinyl every three months, with CD editions arriving in between. A remastered CD of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is due this summer, with Moonraker and The Man with the Golden Gun next up on vinyl.
