Anyone who has dreamed of staying at Ian Fleming’s villa, Goldeneye, on the north shore of Jamaica but was put off by the price now has a cheaper option until the end of the year.
While the villa has been available for rent for some years as part of what is now the Goldeneye Resort, guests may now choose to book an individual room in the house, where Fleming wrote his twelve Bond novels and two collections of short stories.
Pricing is still a hefty $2,500 per night though so it is hardly a budget option. However, you do get the chance to sit at Fleming’s own desk and the price includes staff.
